Terms and Conditions

Reservation, Deposit and Final Payment
Reservations must be accompanied by the specified deposit and insurance premium (if you have chosen to purchase the travel insurance that we offer). The deposit is part of the tour price and is non-refundable by SAT. Full payment is required if your reservation is made within 6 weeks of the departure date. Insurance is separate, not included in the tour price.

Upon receipt of your completed Reservation Form and payment, we will send the following:

  • Written confirmation of your reservation with acknowledge of payment

  • Details of the insurance coverage

  • Invoice for the total amount due and date for final payment

Final payment is due 6 weeks before the departure date and should be sent to the SAT Travel, 5 Betterton Street, London, WC2H 9BH.

If any member of your party has restricted mobility, particular dietary requirements or other special needs, please tell us when you make your reservation. We will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate such requirements.

Contact details and other resource material will be sent at least two weeks before departure. Approximately 7-10 days before departure you will receive airline tickets, a detailed final itinerary and a list of fellow passengers.  

Surcharges
SAT reserves the right to amend prices due to excessive fluctuations in currency exchange rates, fuel surcharges and government taxation.

Passport, Visa & Health
It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure that he or she has a valid passport and, if necessary, a visa for the tour destination. SAT will advise on visa and health requirements. See 'Before Leaving' for the appropriate tour.

Included in the Tour Price

  • All travel arrangements, features, accommodation and meals specified in the brochure and/or on the website

  • Airport charges and departure taxes

  • Excursions and admission fees as specified on the itinerary

  • The services of an exclusive Tour Manager where specified in the itinerary

  • Porterage at destination hotels

Not Included in the Tour Price

  • Visa charges, unless specified

  • Insurance premiums (if you have chosen to purchase the travel insurance that we offer, you need to pay the insurance premium with your deposit)

  • Laundry, beverages and other personal items

  • Transfers to and from departure airport

  • Tips and gratuities, which are at the traveler's discretion

Financial Protection – ATOL
The air holidays and flights on this website are ATOL Protected for travel from the UK, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 5498. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. Responsibilities of SAT Travel
SAT accepts responsibility for tour details as described in the brochure and for providing the contracted travel details. We do not accept responsibility for expenses incurred as a result of sickness, injury, delay, weather, strike action, loss of property or other causes. Such costs are the responsibility of the traveler. We reserve the right to make alterations to the advertised itinerary if required by circumstances beyond our control.

SAT also reserves the right to cancel a tour if a certain minimum number of travelers have not made a reservation. Notification of such cancellation will be given at least 6 weeks before the departure date. If a tour is cancelled by SAT, all payments will be refunded.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your tour while it is underway, you should make this known to the Tour Manager, who will make all reasonable efforts to resolve the difficulty. If you remain unhappy, you should notify SAT in writing within 28 days of your return. We promise to review your complaint fairly and promptly.

Cancellation Policy
If you have to cancel your reservation, you must notify the SAT office in writing immediately. Under these circumstances, you are subject to cancellation fees as below, unless you have chosen to take out the insurance that we offer and can show that your reasons for cancelling are covered under the terms of the insurance cover.
