Suggested Itinerary:
Day 1: Take the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Brussels and take the train to Antwerp, arriving at
around midday. Coach transfer to the Hilton Hotel, check in and drop your bags before heading out to
the restaurant. Lunch at the Kathedraalcafe in the centre of Antwerp for lunch and an introductory talk
from Toma about antiques and Antwerp. Then it’s an afternoon’s shopping in the town’s antique district.
Meet up again in the evening for dinner at the De Foyer restaurant at the beautiful Bourla Theatre.
Day 2: A short walk to the Rubenshuis for a guided visit to the home and studio of artist Peter Paul
Rubens, where many of his original canvases are displayed. Then after time for lunch there will be
more shopping in Antwerp’s historic town center, including what the Antiques Diva calls the best shoe store
in Europe! This evening there is the option to dine at your own expense at the Sir Anthony Van Dyck
restaurant hidden in a secluded 16th century alleyway.
Day 3: An excursion by coach to the famous vintage fleamarket at Tongeren. The Antiques Diva will show
you how to hunt out and haggle for the best bargains. In the afternoon the coach will take you to Brussels
to catch the Eurostar back to London.
